The annual “2012 Miss Chinese International Pageant” will be held this evening at Tseung Kwan O in TVB City. Yesterday, the 28 contestants dressed in swimsuits rehearsed for the final. During the event, the girls elected Miss Friendship won by Toronto representative #17 Ashton Hong (洪美珊).
Appearing in a swimwear for the first time in front of the public’s eye, Asia-Pacific region representatives including #5 Lenna Lim , #8 Ying Ma, #9 Cheryl Wee, and #13 Wendy Yu carried the best body figures. Greater China region representatives #20 Angel Wang and #22 YueRong Huang were eye-catchy as well. #19 Erica Chui (徐颖堃) had bruises around her waist area. #15 Jasmine Hayter from New York possessed an awkwardly sharped body with broad shoulders similar to a “Miss Aerobic” beauty.
#17 Ashton Hong was emotionally touched by winning Miss Friendship as she benefited greatly from exchanging cultural views from others. Apart from winning the award, it has not increased her confidence for the competition because she is only asking to make a good show for the audience. After tomorrow, the contestants will part company and go their separate ways without knowing when they would get together again. Ashton is reluctant to say goodbye, but she has exchanged contact with the other contestants already.
Rebecca Supports TVB, No Fixed Results
Allegedly speaking, Erica Chui has her father as a backer. She revealed that her family has no relationship with the results. In short, she will try her best. Every contestant has their own advantage. As a college student, she has done modeling work back in her home country Vancouver. (Enter the showbiz?) Erica said, “I have not thought about that. I will have to finish my studies before considering whether or not I would return to Hong Kong.”
#26 Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗) does not think that Erica has a greater chance of winning because of her family background. She said, “I did not have connections to winning when I was competing in the Miss Hong Kong pageant. TVB treats us equally and fairly. I will support TVB. Maybe she (Erica) will win with her own strengths. It is nothing surprising. (A magazine stated that a Miss Hong Kong is suspected of prostitution.) I have not seen the report and neither have I been invited to dinners. All my work is subjected to my manager. I do not give my number out at random.”

A MHK suspected of prostitution? Even I have not seen such report. Are you messing around with us reporter?

I honestly don’t care what city the winner is from. As long as she is pretty. My fave is Rebecca. I want Rebecca to win.

everyyear MHK is the prettiest?
Miss friendship is not MHK.
wow…MHK will get placement then…
